There’s a huge advantage of having a high page rank. The higher the page is ranked, the better its outcome in the search engine results page (SERP). Basically, the pagerank measures the popularity of the site. Pagerank (or PR) is the numeric value that determines the importance of the site on the web. The numeric value runs from 0 to 10. The higher value of PR, the greater the importance of the website.

When other websites link back to your site, it is an indication that you have quality content. Inbound links increase the web traffic. Having a higher page rank means you have a valuable content and quality links.

The PR assesses the importance of the content based on its inbound links. Search engines check the keyword density and usage to determine the page ranking of the site. Keywords help the site to rank more competitively. A good content helps in increasing the page rank.
