Running out of fresh ideas? Is your blog taking a holiday? Worry not. Ideas are there – you just need to find it. Here are some ways to help you find new topics for your blog.
- Find a topic you’re passionate about. Choose a theme you are comfortable with. Keep your content fresh to have a successful readership.
- Check the comment section. Sometimes best ideas come from your readers. Check their comments and find interesting queries and suggestions. Focus on an exciting discussion that ignited the comment thread.
- Write a list. People love to read lists. “Top 10 Ways to…” or “Top 5 Reasons…” etc. are fun to read.
- Write a review. It can be a product, book, movie, music, restaurant, or just about anything. Jot down your thoughts and experiences.
- Invite a guest blogger to write for you. If you can’t write, then ask somebody to write.
- Turn on the news. Interesting local and national news make a good headline. Tune in to the latest updates and be inspired by a new topic.
- Innovate. Post pictures. Hold a contest. Create a poll. Do something different to interest your readers.
If all else fails, step away from the computer. Get some fresh air. Spend your afternoon at the park. Watch the passersby. Who knows, when you get back to your desk those ideas will pour in.
